Thön
Highlights
- Five interlocking resources: sken (passive income), eko (a network-effect resource that scales with more bärare), bräsch (deepens the weave, unlocks areas and events), fäste (grip on this side — reaches zero and you lose), yra (builds naturally, triggers chaotic events at 100)
- Leaflet map of Skellefteå — click locations to visit them, on a cooldown, each leaving a trace in the log
- Kodex: an unlockable lore-fragment archive gated by real state thresholds, the same pattern later ported into Djupet
- eko spending sink (echo_network, call_in_echo / erase_the_search) ties into a disappearance thread rather than being a pure numbers dump
- Reach väv 100, unlocked via Thörnepherian, to complete the weave
- Vanilla TypeScript + Vite, Leaflet for the map, no backend
A small circle of bärare in a disused sawmill outside Skellefteå are weaving open a breach to Thön. You feed it sken and eko, watch bräsch deepen, and try not to lose your fäste on this side before the weave completes.
Built from the mythology, masks, and lyrics of the Swedish band Vildhjärta — the same “everyday Swedish setting, matter-of-fact voice, something underneath that should not be there” approach as Djupet, but a different city, a different myth, and its own resource loop rather than a reskin.
Djupet’s Kodex — an unlockable archive of lore fragments gated by real in-game state — was ported over from here, not the other way around: Thön had it first.
